[A] Budget: Looking for proposal
[B] Scope of Service:
(1) Vendor needs to provide benefits consultant and long-term care insurance broker services to the government authority located in Lincoln, NE.
- To engage the services of a professional firm with demonstrated successful consulting experience with health benefit programs, as well as other employee benefit programs with enrolments that include active employees, retirees, and COBRA participants
- The benefits consultant must offer a full range of consulting services including actuarial and underwriting services; health benefits consulting; compliance review and analysis of benefit-related topics including legislative, IRS, etc.; and claims processing analysis and determining premiums for self-insured health and dental plans. In addition, the firm must have successful experience as a long-term care insurance benefit broker for public sector organizations.
- Provide informational materials on legislative developments impacting employee benefit plans including topics such as ACA, CAA, FMLA, COBRA, HIPAA, HIPAA Privacy, and Section 125 and access to any online reference tools made available to clients.
- Consultant will help to ensure that benefit designs are consistent with the strategic benchmarks and targets set forth in the strategic benefit planning process
- Consultant will identify core administrative services, assess vendor performance, and manage vendor relationships to provide appropriate program administration
- Provide assistance in the daily administration of programs, including resolution of vendor service issues and addressing questions and concerns raised by employees and management
(2) All question must be submitted no later than April 15, 2022.
(3) A contract term will be for three years.
