Government Authority located in Omaha, Nebraska; USA based organization looking for expert vendor for high performance computing system.
[A] Budget: Looking for Proposals
[B] Scope of Service:
(1) Vendor needs to provide high performance computing system to serve the computing needs of researchers to the government authority located in Omaha, NE.
1. Twenty-four (24) compute nodes with the following:
- Two Xeon Gold 5318Y CPUs or better per node, or equivalent AMD option with comparable performance.
- At least 512GB DDR4 memory per node is required.
- Must support EL8, KVM and OpenStack.
- If a multi-node chassis is used, each node must be serviceable without shutting down other nodes in the same chassis.
2. Two (2) GPU nodes with the following:
- Two Xeon Gold 5318Y CPUs or better per node, or equivalent AMD option with comparable performance.
- At least 1024GB DDR4 memory per node is required.
- Must support EL8, KVM and OpenStack.
3. Twelve (12) CEPH all-flash storage nodes with the following:
- Two Xeon Silver 4309Y CPUs or better per node, or equivalent AMD option with comparable
Performance.
- For the primary flash-based storage at least 38TB total raw capacity per node.
4. Five (5) management nodes with the following:
- Two Xeon Gold 5318Y CPUs or better per node, or equivalent AMD option with comparable performance.
- Remote management via IPMI 2.0 with KVM functionality and dedicated Ethernet port (RJ45).
5. Twenty-Eight (28) CEPH storage nodes with the following:
- Two Xeon Silver 4309Y CPUs or better per node, or equivalent AMD option with comparable performance.
- At least two 25Gb SFP28 Ethernet ports per node. The port must be compatible with 10Gb Ethernet and include two 25Gb SR 850nm optics.
(2) All the questions must be submitted no later than December 15, 2022.
