(1) Vendor needs to provide interpretation translation services.– Appointment confirmation:– Vendor will confirm appointments made one week or more in advance within 48 hours from request date.– Vendor will confirm appointments made less than one week in advance within 24 hours from request date.– Mileage to appointment site:– Paid at the current IRS rate and mile.– Cancellation fees for on–site interpretation appointments:– No charge if cancelled more than 24 hours prior to appointment time.– Hourly charge for time scheduled if cancelled less than 24 hours prior to appointment time.– One–hour fee and mileage for no shows.– No shows are determined if 30 minutes past appointment time and client has not arrived.– Vendor reporting and time sheet documentation.– Vendor will submit a time sheet showing start and stop time for service, language utilized, interpreter’s name, client’s name and purpose for appointment.– If Vendor’s interpreter is late by scheduled appointment time, time reporting begins at their arrival time.– Vendor attire:– Ensure interpreters are dressed appropriately for the purpose of the appointment.– More official occasions such as a mayor’s press conference, will require business casual attire; clinic settings require closed–toed shoes.(2) All questions must be submitted no later than April 12, 2024.(3) A contract period will be for one year.
