(1) Vendor needs to provide water vegetation control systems to the government authority located in Columbus, NE.– Provide water systems, including canals, laterals, drains, and other water system features during the 2025 growing season, as illustrated in the vegetation treatment maps, incorporated herein.1. Water systems: water system is a network of canals and laterals that include diversion structures, dams, reservoirs, drains, control structures, flumes, siphons, and recreation areas.2. Supply canal system:a) Supply canal nomenclature– Keystone diversion structures:– Supply canal includes 22 miles3. Irrigation system:a) Irrigation system nomenclature:– Gothenburg diversion– Gothenburg main canal includes approximately 30 miles.– Lake helen gates and spillway.b) Target species list– Broadleaf: including sunflower, kochia, velvet leaf, sour dock, and pigweed.c) Application shall be performed in accordance with the following schedules.d) Irrigation system vegetation control applications include:4. Spot application vegetation control: provide spot application vegetation control for broadleaf, woody vegetation, noxious, and aquatic weeds.(2) The contract period will be for one year.  (3) A non–mandatory pre–bid meeting will be held on February 6, 2025.
