[A] Budget: Looking for Proposal
[B] Scope of Service:
(1) Vendor needs to provide data historian and analysis software.
- Software will be hosted by UNL onsite server infrastructure.
- Options for installation and use of product in production, development, and test environments.
- Data aggregated to central server that is accessible from multiple locations
- Create and store metadata that describes assets and the associated real-time data streams for those assets.
- Scale horizontally to increase the number of installations and users and vertically to add new tools and functionality
- Architecture must support failover, redundancy, backup, and data recovery options
- Interface to a wide range of distributed control systems, PLCs, and other data sources, including process control systems manufactured by major vendors
- Buffer data, to prevent data-loss, when that data cannot be sent to the server or historian immediately
- Support bi-directional data collection and delivery.
- Ability to automatically configure and populate both an asset hierarchy and a tag database.
- Automatically synchronize changes made to tags in the control system
- Collect and store data from up to 20M data streams, tags, or points and sustain data collection rates of 500K events per second to disk.
- Capture events at a sub-second rate.
- Use data compression algorithms to improve data storage requirements on disk, allowing for longer duration of data storage
- Ability to import two years of data from UNL’s existing wonder ware historian
- Data access capabilities for large data sets and must have intuitive interface and a high level of overall system responsiveness to data queries
- Provide a well-defined and documented, bi-directional if possible, software application programming interface
- Support manual data entry through a user-friendly software application or through a software application programming interface
- Display real-time data in GIS software
- Ability to create dashboards, displays, calculations, and reports without needing coding or programming assistance
- Access data, displays, and reports remotely on desktops, tablets, and mobile devices
- Configurable access to control system devices and automation protocols
- Manage metadata, including asset data used to describe logical or physical data
- Provide support to inhouse systems administrator to specification and configuration of server for responsive user experience
(2) All question must be submitted no later than July 8, 2019.
