[A] Budget: Looking for Proposal
[B] Scope of Service:
(1) Vendor needs to provide intelligent transportation system; the solution shall consist of automatic vehicle locator or computer aided dispatch and scheduling/planning software.
- The AVL component of the total solution shall display the vehicle information in real-time on a digital map at workstations for dispatch, customer service and other StarTran stakeholders along with other pertinent information regarding the route and the vehicle.
- All data shall be updated between the vehicles and the back-office AVL/CAD systems via configurable settings consisting of time-based frequency, bus stops, reporting time points and various trigger points.
- The time-based frequency shall have latency of no less than fifteen (15) seconds. Data shall also allow for configurable management and reporting of deadhead/headway time and mileage upon start of service.
- The scheduling/planning software must be integrated with the AVL/CAD system for seamless data analysis to be performed as well as to merge any rostering for daily work assignments to the AVL/CAD system.
