(1) Vendor needs to provide floodplain remapping project service to the government authority located in Lincoln, NE. - Floodplain maps for the city of Lincoln portray the risk of flooding from various rainfall storm events likely to occur, but the data used for the current maps is old and outdated. - completed a salt creek flood resiliency study, which utilized global climate models and trends to evaluate a potential future flooding scenario, projected to possibly occur in the year 2100. - to have its floodplain maps updated to accurately portray the actual flood risk expected to occur, to understand and mitigate for flooding risks; manage the floodplain; inform citizens, home and business owners, insurance and real estate agents, engineers, and developers; and ultimately improve the safety and resilience of the community. - This project consists of new and more accurate hydrologic and hydraulic modeling of cardwell branch and beal slough watersheds, in accordance with requirements, utilizing updated Atlas 14 rainfall data. - To provide program management support to the city to begin mapping efforts. 1. Business plan update - Create a global program management plan per requirements, to cover both current, and future phases of work. - Coordinate with the city of Lincoln in the development of the program management plan, to incorporate traditional elements typically found in project management plans or 'work plans', to simply have one guiding program and project management document for the city's floodplain remapping project. 3. Outreach plan - Create a comprehensive outreach plan, in coordination with the city and its public relations staff. The plan is to be completed for the entire city of Lincoln Remapping Project for the broader community affected by all (current and future) phases of the mapping project. Coordination with other entities that are also mapping areas in or near Lincoln will be needed. - An appendix is to be completed containing a project outreach and communication pan detailing outreach and coordination activities outreach plan for just the projects and phase 1 projects. 4. Coordinated needs management strategy 5. Programmatic plan - It is very important to the city and to produce comprehensive, high quality and error free modeling and mapping results. 6. Project management and monthly and quarterly reporting 7. Existing topographic data capture and terrain data capture 8. Survey data capture 9. Hydrology data capture - Hydrologic analysis shall be completed for Beal Slough and Cardwell Branch watershed flooding sources. 10. Hydraulics Data Capture
