(1) Vendor needs to provide online college and career access platform.
- Online College and Career Access Platform with digital access for all secondary students, in 6th through 12th grades.
- Provide a platform which will house resources, tools, and documentation for a student's post-secondary planning in a seamless online platform that is accessible by students, staff, families, and community partners during middle and high school and after graduation.
- Device Requirements:
• Must work with Apple iPad and cellular devices flawlessly (varieties of models and iOS versions).
• Platform should be cross-platform with the potential to function in Windows, Mac, or any other type of environment. Platform also needs to be able to function in a mobile environment supportive of iOS/iPad technology.
• Must be compatible with multiple devices, mobile devices, Chrome book, MacBook, iPad, Surface Pro.
- Software Requirements:
• Must flawlessly integrate with Learning Management System (Canvas at this time).
• Must be able to use Clever for SSO and Rostering.
• System is hosted by the Firm in a cloud or Software -As - A -Service (SaaS) environment. Please indicate cloud or SaaS.
• System includes a web -based public interface that is accessible by a variety of modern browsers. Please indicate the browsers.
• System uses secure transit protocols such as SSH Public Key Authentication, SFTP, and HTTPS.
• The application will integrate with existing Omaha Public Schools authentication systems and protocols to authenticate users, processes, and services like SAML or SSO.
• System must be fully available and accessible 24/7, excluding downtime for maintenance and upgrades. Specify the infrastructure in place to ensure this requirement.
• System runs efficiently during times of peak use. Describe how the system addresses competing needs, particularly in a cloud environment.
• System requires minimal downtime to perform scheduled maintenance or software upgrades.
- The platform must include the following components:
• Platform must include an Electronic Portfolio into which students can place and/or create a collection of artifacts through their high school graduation.
• Including but not limited to pdf, jpegs, word documents, power points, MP3, and MP4 files.
• The Electronic Portfolio should be able to be exported by students so that they can share it with colleges or with future career opportunities.
• After the student exits high school, the portfolio must either be exportable to another external tool (via PDF or zip) or the student will need continued lifetime access.
• The portfolio should be customizable
- Curriculum Lessons:
• Ability to allow students to set goals, such as future career goals and SMART goals.
• Ability to track students' progress by recording completion of tasks and date completed.
• Ability to build and export resumes. - Post-Secondary Application:
• Platform must include the ability for staff to submit college application materials including transcripts, school profiles, mid-year reports, Common App documents, and final transcripts via Parchment or another online document submission program.
• Platform must seamlessly integrate with Common App.
- Communication Tools:
• Ability for staff to message students and families, the platform should provide email and SMS (text message) notifications.
• Platform must include a way to create and distribute Surveys, including a Senior End-of-the-Year survey that links to the college document submission system.

• A platform that is data-rich and can generate reports but also has dashboards for counselors and other support staff for faster intervention

• Ability for parents to provide electronic signatures to acknowledge students' personal learning plan.
- Equity and Access:
• A user experience that's designed with students in mind that enables students to take agency to navigate the platform without direct guidance from staff.
• Digital and online resources should be accessible to all learners including closed captioning, multiple written and spoken languages, and audio support.
