(1) Vendor needs to provide behavioral health co–responder program service to the government authority located in Lincoln, NE. – Providing three assigned, full–time licensed mental health clinicians and clinical social workers clinical staff for a co–responder program the program.– The assigned clinical staff will be required to participate in pre–implementation training, specific to the nuanced requirements of their role in The Program. Participation in on–going training through agency is also required.– Clinical staff will respond simultaneously with agency officers to behavioral health related calls for service for youth and adults. Calls for service may involve, but are not limited to, entering an individual’s residence; inclement weather; and intense, distressing, and potentially dangerous circumstances. Clinical staff can expect a demanding environment which will require an adaptive, flexible personality.– Provide assigned clinical staff with experience and expertise in de–escalation, crisis intervention, and crisis stabilization; working with youth and families; and have training in adolescent brain development.– The selected organization will demonstrate the use of trauma informed, culturally sensitive practices when providing crisis services, will have knowledge of community resources for purposes of referral, including local service capacity for swift resource linkage.– The organization will provide clinical oversite of the assigned clinician staff and will be responsible for providing on–going training to this staff.
