[A] Budget: Looking for Proposal
[B] Scope of Service:
(1) Vendor needs to provide digital signs and integration services to implement digital display signage to present real-time transit arrival information for transit service at bus rapid transit stations, the digital display signage will integrate with an existing AVL and CAD system to receive real-time data on vehicle locations and present the information to passengers on digital display signage
- Digital display signage system design: be responsible for procuring, installing, configuring and testing all hardware and software required, all communication between digital display signage system equipment must be through the main AVL server location using a hub and spoke design, to utilize in-place communications infrastructure at BRT stations for transmitting real-time transit information to digital displays from the central software required for digital display management,
- Digital display signage system hardware installation: to provide the digital display signage slot signs and kiosks in display cases with delivery of the units to station canopy contractor for installation of signage to the canopy structures, field installation of canopy structure, the vendor will be responsible to finalize digital display signage configuration, and testing all digital display signage system hardware components and sub-components and ensuring interfaces are working properly,
- Digital display software installation: to use all software and firmware provided under the
contract and will not impose any licensing restrictions on interfacing data to or from the digital display system software, hosting of the content management software as described within
technical specs for the software that are provided within this division, hosting services, monthly
service fees, maintenance, and licensing for the software shall be provided for the duration of the
warranty period for all digital display signage system software,
- Digital display system integration with AVL system: digital display signage system with the AVL system for receiving real-time transit information, and shall serve as systems integrator for all components and interfaces (internal and external),
- System acceptance testing: inspections or tests indicate that specific hardware, software, or documentation does not meet the specification requirement, the appropriate items shall be replaced, repaired, upgraded, or added by the vendor as appropriate,
- Factory acceptance testing: demonstrate the required functional, software, and hardware operation of the fully integrated system.
- Full system acceptance testing: acceptance test plan shall have been received, reviewed and
approved and its designee,
- System documentation: interfaces with outside systems shall be broken down to identify the direction and frequency of the exchange, the physical medium to be utilized, dialogs, message sets and data elements to be transmitted and received, including the exact form of the objects on both sides of the exchange,
- Digital display signage operations manuals: Pictograms and photos are encouraged,
- Digital display signage maintenance manuals: the materials provided shall contain, but not be
limited to: a description of operation, installation procedures, preventive maintenance procedures
and program; repair procedures, diagnostic procedures, wire diagrams, electrical schematics with
board and cable identification and adjustment procedures,
- Digital display signage system training: provide a comprehensive training program that enables employees to operate and maintain the system, training topics shall include: digital display signage operator training, hardware training for it and maintenance personnel, system administration training including 3rd party interfaces.
(2) All the questions must be submitted no later than July 16, 2019.

Performance of the work will be Offsite. Vendor needs to carry work in their office location.
