[B] Scope of Service:
Vendor needs to provide video detection system type 3, for the traffic management system to the government authority located in Lincoln, NE.
- The VDS camera shall be a solid-state color camera which may switch to black and white for night time operation,
- The VDS camera sensor shall be a complementary metal oxide semiconductor sensing element outputting wide dynamic range, 1080 P high definition video,
- Usable video shall be produced during luminance levels as low as 0.2 lux for black and white or as low as 1.0 lux for color,
- Useable video shall be produced during luminance levels as high as 10,000 lux. The camera shall not sustain permanent damage when pointed directly at strong light sources for brief periods of time,
- The camera shall include an electronic shutter or auto-iris control based upon average scene luminance and shall be equipped with an electronic shutter or auto-iris,
- The camera shall incorporate digitally adjustable zoom and focus elements which cannot move out of adjustment over time due to vibration,
- The camera printed circuit boards shall be conformally coated,
- The camera and lens shall be capable of operating in all weather conditions and able to withstand wind load of 140 mph,
- The camera’s front lens cover shall be easily replaceable without the use of special tools or the loss of warranty,
- The camera shall provide strain relief for all cables.
