[B] Scope of Service:
Vendor needs to provide labor studies provider service to union audiences and the public
about the many contributions organized labor has made to the public that have helped put the American Dream within reach of everyday wage earners to the government authority located in Omaha, NE.
- Design, write, and produce labor education materials required to accomplish the educational efforts for Labor Studies,
- Teach non-credit labor education to students as determined, the instruction provided will focus on the history and purpose of organized labor: It will additionally address the labor movement's many contributions to humanizing the employment relationship and advancing the general welfare of the nation as a whole as well as extend to the tools that the American labor movement used, and continues to use, to raise levels of fairness and justice in all workplaces and communities across the nation, Course and lecture topics may include, but are not limited to the following:
- Preparation for collective bargaining, how go effectively talk “union’’, leadership training, developing union leadership skills, strategic planning for executive boards, common sense economics, labor history, increasing political effectiveness,
- Develop custom-designed contract courses for local unions, state associations, or central labor councils,
- Research and Develop potential credit course opportunities,
- Respond to applied research and information requests form organized labor,
- Offer public education programs for organizations inside and outside the labor movement,
- Host the annual promoting the general welfare labor studies conference.
[C] Eligibility:
- Onshore (USA Only);
[D] Work Performance:
Performance of the work will be Offsite. Vendor needs to carry work in their office location.
