Vendor needs to provide internal audit services for the period of January 1, 2017 through December 30, 2019 to the government authority located in Omaha, NE.
- The GAGAS standards require that the Internal Audit Department undergo a quality assurance peer review every three years.
- The department has had two prior reviews completed in 2014 and 2017 for each prior three-year period. Those reviews included a quality assurance review of the Institute of Internal Audit’s standards as well. This review is requesting only a review for adherence to GAGAS.
- The peer review must be performed using the latest GAGAS as promulgated by the comptroller general of the united states in the publication government auditing standards.
- The scoring of proposals will be based on the experience and quality of firm and staff performing the review in addition to cost.
