Vendor needs to provide delinquent account collection services to the government authority located in Omaha, NE.
A. CURRENT FEE STRUCTURE
1. 25% of standard accounts
2. 40% for accounts requiring legal action
B. ACCOUNTS INFORMATION
1. Average annual accounts submitted: 2,000
2. Average annual $$ submitted: $1.5 million
3. Average aging of accounts: 60 days past due
4. The City has paid approximately $300,000/yr in total commissions during the past 4 years
C. TYPE OF ACCOUNTS
1. NSF checks, various city invoices and permits
2. Monthly Restaurant occupation taxes and late fees
3. Monthly Tobacco occupation taxes and late fee
4. False alarms- sent from a third party
5. Rescue squad- sent from a third party
D. CURRENT COLLECTIONS
1. City of Omaha uses in house means via letters and phone calls
2. Accounts submitted to vendor are considered primary accounts and are not serviced by prior
agencies nor will the vendor subcontract their collection services.
E. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
1. The City will retain the services of only one vendor
2. The contract will be awarded in summer of 2021 with a projected start date of August 2021
[C] Eligibility:
- Onshore (USA Organization Only);
[D] Work Performance:
Performance of the work will be Offsite. Vendor needs to carry work in their office location.
